In the past 3 months, from August 2024 to October 2024, Food Commons@Shatin recovered a total of 38,994.98 kg of food in the Shatin, Tai Wai, Ma On Shan, and Fo Tan areas. Among them, 38,851.98 kg (99.63%) were distributed, benefiting 73,107 people.
Our collectors and volunteers work hard every day in markets and shops to recover excess but still edible food, and all recovered food is shared with people in need in the community. If you would like to contribute, you are welcome to join us as a volunteer!
